Not all fish oil is the same…

This is one of the best Fish Oil/Omega 3 supplements that I have tried. They are easy to swallow, don’t leave any aftertaste, and I don’t get any fishy burps after taking them (which is HUGE for me!) I really don’t like to eat much fish, but I know that it is really good for me. Therefore, I take fish oil supplements. I really hate taking some of your lesser quality oils because I can’t stand the nasty fish burps or aftertaste. I don’t get any of that with these. I do wish that you didn’t have to take so many to get the required daily dose. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Q: What kind of fish oil is used?

Q: is this 5 star IFOS rated

Q: what is the source of gelatin in the capsule?
A: It’s bovine gelatin, so made from beef.
Q: I see no allergen statement on the bottle. Is this product gluten and dairy free? Is it produced in a facility which processes
gluten & dairy items?
A: Our omega 3 is completely gluten and dairy free. The facility itself also produces some whey protein products, but it is a GMP
certified facility, so the production of each product is kept completely separate.
Q: Does this contain flaxseed or soy?
A: Our omega 3 doesn’t contain Flax seed. It doesn’t contain whole soy either, however, the mixed natural tocopherols which are
the antioxidant part of vitamin E are extracted from soybeans. The tocopherols are necessary to stop the delicate omega 3 fatty
acids from oxidizing.
The vast majority of the brands in the omega 3 industry will use tocopherols extracted from soy, although there may be some that
extract them from wheat or highly refined palm oil. Neither are better options in our opinion. If you 100% have to avoid anything to
do with soy, make sure you find out from a manufacturer exactly where their tocopherols come from, as many companies in the
industry are not keen to divulge their exact ingredients.
Q: Are these enterically coated?
A: No, they are not enterically coated. The reason we don’t enterically coat our fish oil is because it makes them less effective. Fish
oil absorption starts in the stomach where approximately 10% of the fatty acids are absorbed, then the rest are absorbed quickly
in the small intestine after emulsification in bile released from the liver. Enterically coating the fish oil prevents this happening
efficiently, and causes more of the the fatty acids to pass through the small intestines without being absorbed. In other words your
body gets less omega 3 from enterically coated fish oil.
Usually companies will enterically coat because they are using cheaper quality fish oil. One of the side effects with cheaper quality
fish oil is fishy burps, and enterically coating the oil will reduce this happening. However, when you use high quality fish oil as we
do, fishy burps is very rare, so we don’t need to. These companies will market enteric coating as a benefit, but it’s not. Enterically
coating is a big advantage for probiotics where you want the probiotics to get through the small intestine to the large intestine
alive and well, but not for fish oil.
Q: Is this tested by a 3rd party?
A: Our omega 3 is tested in 2 labs, at the manufacturers and by a 3rd party so we can verify both results to absolutely make sure
we are selling the best omega 3 possible.

Q: Why does it say polyunsaturated fat 0 grams ? all omega 3’s are types of polyunsaturated fat including epa, dha, ala?
A: yes you are completely right! It’s a mistake on the image, thank you for noticing it.

A: Our last 3rd party test was less than 0.005 micro-grams per capsule, according to our manufacturer it’s 1 part per billion.
Q: Where are the capsules made and packaged?
A: They are made in the USA.
Q: Does this product contain ALA?
A: Each serving of 3 capsules contains 210mg of ‘other omega 3’ fatty acids which will include some ALA. However, we don’t
specifically test for ALA levels. Fish oil is primarily for EPA and DHA. If you are specifically looking for ALA, I would suggest trying
a vegetarian omega 3 supplement such as flax seed.
Q: Where are the oils sourced? Which ocean? Which fish?
A: They are sourced from the Antarctic Ocean off the coast of Chile.
Q: Is your fish oil ok for people with gout?
A: yes it’s fine. Our fish oil contains no purines or protein.
Q: So what is the correct % of saturated, mono-unsaturated and trans fat (if any)?
A: There are no saturated, mono-unsaturated or trans fats. Omega 3’s are polyunsaturated fats. 3G total fat. Has 0 sat, 0 mono,
0 mono. Which has to mean it’s a poly unsaturated fat. Omega-3,s total 2250mg with 1224mg EPA, 816mg DHA, and 210mg other
omega 3 fatty acids. No fish burps n largest dose in a capsule that I’ve been able to find.
Q: Does this product contain Vesisorb or similar ingredient to aid absorption?
A: No it doesn’t. We recommend taking omega 3 with a meal to aid absorption.
Q: How large are the capsules?
A: Each capsule is 27mm long and 9mm in diameter.
Q: Does it have a fishy taste? (Or does it Cause burps that taste like fish?)
A: The pills themselves don’t have a fishy taste. If you take them on an empty stomach and lie down, you might get mild fishy
burps, but they are far less severe than I have experienced with any other fish oil supplement.
Q: Which fish are the oils taken from?
A: we use wild caught Mackerel, Anchovy and Sardine from the Antarctic. So if you have a specific mackerel allergy, I would
suggest you try another brand.
Q: Is this product molecularly distilled? Has this been purified through molecular distillation?
A: Yes, our fish is molecularly distilled for purity.
Q: Can these be cut in half?
A: They are not hard tablets they are soft gels so if you were to cut it the contents would leak out. So no.

A: Yes, it is pcb tested, this is the best, it will give a pick up after great workout!
Q: How does it compare with PRN de dry eye omega? Also, is it cheaper to buy in quantity?
A: Both PRN and Intelligent labs come in the superior triglyceride form. However, Intelligent labs has more omega 3 per capsule.
For example we have 750mg of omega 3 per capsule, whereas PRN has 668mg per capsule. They have have 420mg EPA, whereas
we have 405mg EPA, but they only have 140mg DHA whereas we have 270mg DHA. PRN is also more expensive.
Q: Is the soy used GMO?
A: No soy in them.
Q: Why not just state the strength per capsule?
A: Per Capsule it’s 410 mg EPA, 270mg DHA and 70mg other omega 3’s.
Q: Does it help with dry eyes?
