When should I start taking the Prenatal Multivitamin?
We recommend women to start taking prenatal vitamins as soon as they actively start trying to become pregnant. It can help with fertility, and because some women may not realise exactly when they become pregnant, it can start to nourish the unborn baby’s brain development from the earliest possible point.*
However, if you know you are already pregnant, don’t worry because our pregnancy multivitamins with folic acid will help you and your baby through pregnancy and breastfeeding (if you choose to do so).
How long should I take the Prenatal supplement for?
We recommend taking it through all 3 stages: preconception, pregnancy, and breastfeeding.
What time of day is best to take the Prenatal Multivitamin?
We don’t recommend a time of day, but we do recommend that you take it with a meal as this helps with absorption. Also, the active Folate and Vitamin B12 often give people more energy and make them feel more alert. If this is the case for you, it’s better to take it with breakfast.
Is it safe to take with other medication?
Everything in our multivitamin is natural, however, if you are taking other prescription medication, we do recommend consulting with your doctor first.
Your tablets are a bit large, are they easy to break?
With 25 different nutrients packed in higher concentrations than our competitors, it’s only natural for our multivitamin to be larger than usual. The good news is that since we don’t add any fillers to our supplements, we’ve been able to engineer a thinner tablet that can easily be broken into two halves. It’s perfect for anyone who hates taking large tablets!
How do I know the vitamins won’t oxidize in the bottle?
We use a special active Polymer Bottle that removes moisture and reduces oxygen levels to 0.01%. Oxygen causes B vitamins to oxidize, so if you are using a brand that does not use a specially made bottle, you are going to have expensive wee, as the B vitamins will not be absorbed!
